About Filecypressfield Mining Review

Registered Business

Filecypressfield Mining Review is the official registered business name under which we operate. We are incorporated in South Korea and conduct all client engagements from our Incheon office.

Established 2019

Filecypressfield Mining Review began in 2019 when founder Dae-won Park left a hosting facility engineering role to consult independently on hardware turnover. South Korean farms were retiring Antminer S9 units faster than operators could evaluate replacements. Clients needed someone who would document findings on paper, not push a particular vendor.

The first engagements were hash-rate audits for two farms in Gyeonggi Province. By 2021 we added phased fleet assessments as operators shifted toward 0.05 TH/s-and-above efficiency thresholds. Today we serve hosting operators, co-location tenants, and private farms across the Seoul metropolitan area and Busan.

What We Do

We review Bitcoin mining hardware — ASIC miners at 0.05 TH/s and above — and produce written guidance for phased fleet upgrades. We do not sell miners, run a pool, or take commissions from manufacturers.

Our Approach

Measure first. We trust wall meters and pool logs over brochure figures.

Phase by constraint. Power panels, lease terms, and cash flow determine upgrade timing more than difficulty charts.

Write it down. Every engagement ends with a document you can hand to a partner, landlord, or accountant.

Team

Dae-won Park — Lead reviewer. Former facility engineer with twelve years in data-center cooling and five years focused on ASIC deployments.

So-yeon Choi — Procurement analyst. Tracks warranty terms, import documentation, and secondary-market pricing for common models.

Jin-ho Baek — Field technician. Conducts on-site sampling, thermal imaging, and PDU load verification.

Values

Honest exclusions matter as much as recommendations. If a client should wait six months before buying, we say so. If a used batch is fine for Phase 1 testing but not Phase 3 production, we document the distinction.

Community

We attend the Korea Blockchain Week mining panel when schedules allow and contribute field notes to local operator groups — always disclosing our paid-review relationship when discussing client hardware.
